Will Nicole’s Over 30s be the next to go?

Josh Krajcik

Back at the beginning of the month, I predicted that The X Factor‘s Paula Abdul would be first judge to lose all her acts. That prediction came true, albeit in a different order and sooner than I expected, last week when Lakoda Rayne, the final act in the Groups category, received the lowest number of votes from America.

While Paula Abdul is now a judge only on The X Factor, she could have company as soon as this week. For, you see, Nicole Scherzinger only has one act left in her Over 30s category: Josh Krajcik.

Will Nicole be the next judge to lose all her acts?

The answer: Depends on how long it takes to vote Josh into the Bottom 2.

Two weeks ago, Stacy Francis hit the Bottom 2 for the first time. She was then promptly sent home despite her co-Bottom 2 act, Brian “Astro Turkey” Bradley, throwing a hissy fit on stage.

Last week, LeRoy Bell hit the Bottom 2 for the first time. He was then promptly sent home despite his co-Bottom 2 act, Marcus Canty, completely blowing his sing-off song. Granted, it went back to America’s vote for the decision. But Simon has a nasty habit of refusing to be the third vote to send an act home. Even when an act deserves to be sent home.

So considering the track record for Nicole’s Over 30s, Josh might just want to stay out of the Bottom 2.

In all seriousness, however, I do have to question how long Josh Krajcik has left in this competition. I don’t see him making the Finale (I think that will be Melanie Amaro, Chris Rene, and Rachel Crow). And with two acts going home this week, I believe it’s very likely we’ll see Josh in the Bottom 2 this week. And it will depend on who Josh is up against as to whether he survives.

If Josh ends up down there against Marcus Canty, Josh will survive another week. It’s a toss-up if Josh’s co-Bottom 2 act is Brian Bradley (unless Brian decides to throw another hissy fit, in which case Josh wins). If Drew ends up down there with Josh, however, I suspect Drew will win. And if for some reason Josh ends up with one of the people I think will be in the Finale, then forget it. Simply turn the TV and watch whatever else you want to watch, cause Josh won’t stand a chance.

So what do you think Josh Krajcik’s chances are living to see another week of competition? And if he does survive this week, will he survive next week?

And most importantly, do you think Josh will continue to refrain from slathering Crisco on his hair before performing?
