Going Home: XXX
“Welcome the Final 10″ is all the warning we get before the ensemble song of the night starts up. They are singing “We Will Rock You.” LeRoy Bell misses his cue to sing, demonstrating that the song is live. Brian Bradley tries to rap. Chris Rene schools him in how to do it yet again. Melanie Amaro sounds great while Lakoda Rayne sounds like they have given up. Overall, it’s the best ensemble song they’ve done this season. Not sure that is saying much, though.
Time for some filler, as a video clip of last night’s performances begins. I don’t really need a reminder of what happened during the “Rock Night But Not Really” night.
After the video recap, Steve asks Paula how she’s feeling. She says she is feeling really confident. Steve then says that everyone should feel nervous, because the first results are coming up RIGHT NOW!
The first act voted through to the Top 9 is LeRoy Bell. The second act voted safe is Lakoda Rayne. Crap. Both of my Bottom 2 picks just went out the window. SHENANIGANS!
That’s all the results for now. More later in the show. Finally, The X Factor is giving us a reason to tune into the entire show. Now if only the filler was more interesting.
I’m resisting the urge to boycott the rest of tonight’s show, though my forehead vein is likely to throb to new heights. We now get more show filler in the form of the Top 10 getting a makeover and professional photos being taken, albeit on a camera that is being hocked to the 11 million people watching the show. The photographer has good things to say about each and every one of the Top 10 right before giving them all their very own Sony camera. I wonder how much Sony paid for this spot.
More results in a little bit, but first Riahnna takes the stage to sing her newest single, “We Found Love.” Rihanna starts off singing behind a chain-link fence. No clue what that is suppose to represent. They have her microphone set up to sound like she is throwing her voice somewhere else on stage. Now she is jumping up and down like someone whose shoes have caught fire and the singing has all but stopped. Oh wait, there’s the singing again. Interesting. Her shouts of “hey, hey, hey” sounded like they came from her, while the singing continues to sound like it’s coming from somewhere else. Memorex, anyone?
Steve says there will be more results after the break.
After what seemed like an extra-long set of commercials, The X Factor is back. Steve reintroduces the remaining 8 acts back out on stage and says he will reveal the next six safe acts right now.
The third act safe, in no particular order, is Chris Rene. The fourth act through to next week is Melanie Amaro. The fifth safe act is Josh Krajcik. The sixth act through is Marcus Canty.
The remaining two safe acts, and, thusly, the Bottom 2 acts, will be announced after yet another break. Ugh.
Four acts have yet to receive their fate: Stacy Francis, Rachel Crow, Brian Bradley, and Drew. For the love of my sanity, please let Brian be in the Bottom 2.
Back from commercial. The seventh safe act is Drew. The eighth and final guaranteed safe act will be announced after Steve does a quick review of the remaining three contestants. Rachel is already crying. And that last spot goes to Rachel Crow.
And that makes the Bottom 2 Brian Bradley and Stacy Francis. Yes!
First to sing for their life tonight is Stacy Francis. She is singing “Amazing Grace,” and quite poorly too. There is absolutely no richness to her voice in this song at all. She is missing notes right and left, and it sounds like she is barely keeping her emotions in check. Short of Brian dropping his pants in the middle of whatever rap he does, Stacy is likely to be the one to go home.
And now here is Brian Bradley. Wow. Maybe he just saved Stacy. Brian comes out and, instead of singing, first asks L.A. if he should sing then asks the audience if he should sing. What an arrogant little jerk. The kid needs to be slapped upside the head repeatedly until his brain kicks in. He is delivering a half-ass rap up there on stage. It would be an overstatement to say he was phoning it in, because Brian didn’t even bother dialing the phone first. That “performance” was an insult to everyone watching The X Factor.
Here we go. Time for the judges to vote.
L.A. Reid votes to send home: Stacy Francis
Nicole Scherzinger votes to send home: Brian Bradley
Paula Abdul votes to send home: Stacy Francis
Simon Cowell votes to send home: Stacy Francis
I cannot believe this crap. Brian insults the entire X Factor audience and disrespects the entire process, and he gets to stick around? Really? That is pure bull****!
A Forehead Vein Warning has just been issued for tonight, folks. It is recommended that you all take shelter immediately and protect yourself from spurting blood, cause my vein is likely to explode tonight.

I am FURIOUS with how the judges’ vote went down tonight. By voting to keep Brian, they condoned his whiny attitude tonight. What Brian did was an insult to every “X Factor” viewer, and the judges insulted us as well by keeping him around.
grrrrrrrrrrr
Last week’s Top 10 result show was a nightmare for little Rachel Crow, as she was deliberately called the last contestant to survive the bottom two, when the announcement was in no particular order (meaning it could be any among the rest who were earlier saved). I thought it was in reverse order. Could it be that Rachel Crow topped the voting.
My heart broke when Rachel sobbed in her mentor-Simon Cowell’s arms as she heard her name called out by Steve Jones. I am sure America won’t let that happen again to the most loved girl in the contest even when two will get the boot on Wednesday’s result show. Fans of “Rach” should not let their guard down. Keep on voting for the super talented and amazing Rachel Crow. The world cannot afford to lose a “Wonder Girl.”
