Rebecca Black certainly isn’t letting a little negativity…….. okay, a LOT of negativity, stop her from pursuing her dreams.
As you may remember, Rebecca’s first single, “Friday,” had over 160 million views on YouTube before being yanked in a copyright dispute between her and Ark Music Factory. The video was widely panned for its use of auto-tune, sappy lyrics, underage drivers, and a large underage party. It became the most disliked YouTube video of all time, racking up, if memory serves, over 2,500,000 more dislikes than likes.
But as they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity. And Rebecca Black is taking that saying all the way to the bank.
In June, she had a starring role in Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” video. And now, Rebecca has released her latest song, “My Moment.”
It should be noted that, at the time of this post, her video already has over 62,000 comments, 32,055 likes, and 53,649 dislikes. The number of views is currently stuck at 302, though that will clearly go up once YouTube verifies that the video is legitimate.
So what do you think of the video? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
