Halloween Light Show 2011 – ‘Party Rock Anthem’

Earlier this week, video of a house in Riverside, California that decorates for Halloween with lights and music went viral after being featured on one of the morning news shows. The video below of LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” was the first one that I saw.

I love the imagination of this house owner, who apparently has done this for a few years. According to the description on this YouTube video, the house contains “4 singing pumpkin faces, tombstones, hand carved pumpkins, strobes, floods and thousands of lights.” He also mentions that this year he changed from incandescent to RGB LED lights, lowering his electric bill dramatically.

I’m not sure I would want to see that electric bill before the change. Yikes.

It’s amazing what technology allows us to do these days. Setting lights on a house to music would blow my mind if I tried it, and I’m not sure I want to know how many hours he spent setting up all those lights and programming the music.

The “Party Rock Anthem” above isn’t the only song he programmed this year. After the jump, you will find a couple more videos from this homeowner, along with a couple of videos from a homeowner in Odessa, TX, who has done the same thing.

This next video is set to “This is Halloween” from one of the best Holiday movies of all time, “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

Here is a video from 2010, set to one of my favorite songs, “The Monster Mash.”

Another one from 2010, and it may be my favorite of all the videos he has done.

Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

I think MJ would have been proud.

The below video is from the homeowner in Odessa, TX. It is set to “The Diary of a Madman Inro” followed by “Crazy Train.”

The final video I’m going to list is also from the guy in Odessa, Texas, and it is set to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Just amazing.

You can find more videos from each of these homeowners by clicking on one of their YouTube videos above.

So what do you think of what these guys have done? Could you do something like that, or, like me, would your brain explode if you tried? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
