‘Family Circus’ creator Bil Keane dies at 89

Family Circus

A legend passed away yesterday.

Yahoo! News reported about an hour ago that 89-year-old Bil Keane, the creator of “Family Circus,” passed away Tuesday of congestive heart failure.

Bil’s son, Jeff, has been drawing the strip for a few years now, so it won’t be ending with Bil’s death. Which is a good thing, because I enjoy the strip today as much as I ever have.

Rest in peace, Bill.
