It’s the Season 5 Finale of the Idol Radio Show, and Alan, aka the Token White Guy, is talking about the winner of Season 1 of The X Factor. Several callers give their opinions of tonight’s results show, including one who thinks a duet between Melanie Amaro and Adele would be amazing. Alan wonders if the whole cutting / bringing back of Melanie Amaro was a stunt and, if it was, what kind of stunt it was intended to be. ChuckRitt calls in to talk about his coming in last place in the in-show Bottom 2 competition followed by Queen Angie, who calls in to talk about coming in first place. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, people. The Idol Radio Show will return on Wednesday, January 11.

Alan, aka the Token White Guy, spends the first 15 minutes of tonight’s show talking about his displeasure with the duets that took place on The X Factor. After he finishes venting, Alan passes on the sad news of a singer’s death and how you just can’t believe everything you see on the Internet. Khloe Kardashian takes the spotlight for no reason other than moving to the area while the original Lady GagGag gets center stage at the 2012 Superbowl. Alan talks about going to see the new The Muppets movie before having to go himself. The rest of the show focuses back on The X Factor and who should win.

‘The X Factor’ 2011 – Bottom 2 Picks (Top 3)

The X Factor

The Idol Radio Show personalities are having a contest among themselves to see which one of them is the best at picking which acts will be in the Bottom 2 and which acts will go home. The winner doesn’t get a fancy prize, but something even better: bragging rights over the rest of the show’s personalities.

How this works:
Each week, the Token White Guy, Queen Angie, ChuckRitt, and DJ Slim will pick the two acts they think host Steve Jones will announce as the Bottom 2 on Results Night. These are the picks that show up in the two “Bottom 2″ rows in the table below. For each correct pick, the Idol Radio Show personality will earn one point.

On The X Factor, the two Bottom 2 acts will sing for their lives. Then the judges will vote on which act to save and which act to send home. The Idol Radio Show personalities will designate which of their two picks they think the judges will vote to send home. This pick shows up in the “Judges’ Pick” row of the table below. Should the judges be unable to decide which act to send home, the vote on The X Factor then reverts back to the original voting that America did. The IRS personalities have also made a pick on who they think America gave the least votes to, which shows up in the “America’s Pick” row of the table below. The Judges’ Pick and the America’s Pick can be for the same Bottom 2 act or different Bottom 2 acts. A correct pick here earns two points.
